The Main House: The accommodation comprises a large split-level living room with wood burning corner fire and a marvelous kitchen with a large, heavy table, which became the focus of the house. It features an open wood burning hotplate and oven but also has a modern electric cooker. The small flight of steps in the living room leads to the bathroom, a walk in wardrobe and two double bedrooms. There is a separate door that leads out to one of the terraces and a storeroom. The bedrooms are stacked and open plan, connected via an open tread wooden staircase. All the rooms have beamed or wooden ceilings and either slate or wooden floors, and the house generally is spacious and bright, having plenty of windows and patio doors leading to the gardens.
The Guest House: ….Is single storey and makes the third arm of the U, although it is not actually attached to the main house. There is also a library or occasional room, a shower/ utility room with washing machine, a separate wc and a terrace for laundry drying. It comprises two bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom. The kitchen area is situated between the two bedrooms and is open fronted. Each bedroom has beamed ceilings and double doors that open onto the terrace overlooking the main house and lower terraces and gardens.
