Omala is a community in Kefalonia, Greece. It is located in the south-central part of the island and is the only landlocked community/municipality on the island. It is also the smallest in both land area (46.699 km²) and population (1,053 inhabitants at the 2001 census). The seat of the community and only significant town is Valsamata (pop. 942).
